JungleBones is a whimsical display face, kindly offered as a free font by the Australian foundry PhatPhonts, a bunch of fun-loving blokes who've been building fonts since 2001. Chief protagonist Wayne Thompson also releases fonts through his Australian Type Foundry (ATF).

Sovereign is a distinctive 7 weight family from Nick Cooke's G-Type foundry. Serif Caps and semi-serif lower case characters make for an unusual blend but one which works well, particularly at larger display sizes. Tapered stems and calligraphically influenced serifs give plenty of movement and character.

Suomi (Finnish for Finland) was designed by Ogentroost's Diederik Corvers and inspired by a visit to the Scandinavian land of forests and lakes. The Suomi type family, says Corvers, "is like bent wooden furniture, which they happen to have a lot of. The squared-off round shape captures the paradox I found in Finland, severe around the edges, but relaxed at heart". This free Suomi Ultra OpenType font is the heaviest weight in the family; view the rest of the family here.
